First off, my real name is Stephanie, but my friends call me Steph. Yes, this is a recent picture (April 2011) but don’t let it fool you. I realize I look like I’m in my 20′s, but rest assured I’m actually closer to 40.
I would describe myself as a controversial, blunt, and twisted writer with tendencies toward creating magick whenever and wherever she can. I have four pen-names because I write in four very different genres. The different pen-names make it easier for adult readers to find my adult material, young readers to stick with the PG stuff, NF fans to find books about Demonolatry and… well, you get the picture.
All the same I only wanted to have to deal with one Website and Blog. I have enough work to do writing, editing and marketing my books without adding the stress of upkeeping four separate websites to the mix. Before this site I had several sites to update. I can attest to the fact that having one is definitely easier.
I am humbled by the support of my readers. You guys are great! You make it possible for me to actually make a living doing what I love to do. I am grateful every day for that opportunity.
Many people know me as a renowned Daemonolatress and occult author. It’s true. I’m a practicing magus (since 1984) and Daemonolatress (since 1988). I’m also author of “The Complete Book of Demonolatry” which is probably the NF work I’m best known for.
Both my non-fiction and my erotic romances have made bestseller lists!
But mostly I’m just a quirky, eccentric, imaginative, fun-loving gal who loves a good ghost story, a good mystery, a cup of coffee and a cat or two. I have a wonderful husband who I love to spend time with and wonderful friends who I probably don’t spend enough time with. I have a ton of interests – much of it arcane and occult related.
As you can imagine I spend a great deal of time writing, editing and reading. I am a novice Rocky Mountain gardener (I’m into veggies, herbs, and magickal plants). I like yoga, walking, and biking. I also like to knit, make soaps and candles, and mess around in my alchemists lab whipping up magickal potions and incenses. You’ll find posts about the latter under the Sephira Alchemy category. The Gardening stuff is under The Magician’s Garden.
That’s pretty much it for now. If I think of anything else I’ll edit this page.
